Neighborhood Snapshot: Beacon Hill

Neighborhood Snapshot: Beacon Hill

From the cobblestone to the row houses and brownstones to the antique lanterns hanging in the steep streets, Beacon Hill is synonymous with charm. It’s also one of Boston’s most historic and desirable neighborhoods featuring several of the city’s favorite shops, boutiques, cafes, gourmet food stores, and restaurants mostly along Charles Street. With the State House, Massachusetts General Hospital, Financial District, Suffolk University Emerson College in close proximity, professionals, business leaders, political leaders, and even scholars are naturally drawn to make Beacon Hill their home. Let’s take a look at what’s going on in the neighborhood.

Noteworthy – The Archer Residences

The Archer Residences is one the few full-service luxury buildings in Beacon Hill. It was slated to be completed by March 2020, but thanks to COVID that got delayed. According to BLDUP, the interior is finished. The building will consist of 67 ultra-luxury condominiums, garage parking, fitness center, club room, playroom, roof terrace, pet spa, and bike room.  Unit sizes will range from one to four bedrooms and feature a historic character with modern amenities, stunning detail, and high-end, hand-selected materials, oak flooring, gas fireplaces, and premium stone and polished copper hardware.
